1. Herpes simplex infections : 200mg 5 times daily every 4 hr for 5 days
2. Prevention of herpes simplex infections : 200mg 4 times/day
3. Herpes zoster : 800mg 5times/day for 7 days
4. varicella : 20mg/kg(max 800mg) 4 times/day for 5 days
